Institutional Development and Capacity Building
Objectives

    To support the implementation of transparent, responsive and more service-oriented institutional arrangements for land administration; and to develop the capacity of local academic institutions to provide land administration education and training. This component would support: (1) strengthening of existing land administration coordination arrangements; (2) establishment of an education program in land administration and management in one of the national universities in the Philippines in order to strengthen land administration expertise.
        
Output

2.1 Institutional and staffing arrangements for LAMP II prioritized, resources allocated and services delivered in support of interagency coordination, wider stakeholder involvement and personnel management and development.

2.2 Institutional assessments of Land Administration and Management (LAM) agencies conducted, and support provided for restructuring and strengthening, as agreed with the agencies;

2.3 Institutional development and capacity building plan developed for the Land Administration Authority (LAA) upon its establishment.

2.4 LAM education and training program developed and implemented
Poverty reduction and economic growth through secure land tenure and equitable property valuation
